Windsor Laurelwood offers mental health and substance abuse IOP programs that are highly structured group therapy sessions made for individuals struggling with mental health and/or substance abuse issues. Individuals referred to IOP experience significant symptoms that impair their daily lives. IOP allows the individual to be able to maintain work, school and family obligations. Program elements include group therapy, education on the disease process and random drug screening (CD only). Intensive outpatient meets three times per week for six weeks. Day and evening programs are available for substance abuse. The mental health program meets in the evenings.
Windsor Laurelwood offers a dual diagnosis Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for adult patients who are facing co-occurring mental health and substance abuse issues. These two problems are often related and can exacerbate each other if left untreated. This treatment program addresses both issues in a highly structured environment utilizing a multidisciplinary treatment team, individualized therapy plan, education programs, and more. The outpatient nature of the program allows for flexible scheduling, and patients may attend work, school or other daily responsibilities while receiving treatment
Partial Hospitalization Programs provide short-term intensive behavioral health treatment for individuals experiencing psychiatric distress and/or substance abuse issues that do not require treatment at our inpatient mental health facility. The partial program meets five days per week for six hours per day. The goal is to help individuals gain insight into their current functioning and improve their coping skills.
Adult Substance Abuse Partial Hospitalization (PHP) is a program for individuals with primary substance abuse concerns. Program elements include a substance abuse assessment, medical evaluation, group therapy, and activities therapy.
